Digital Marketing Portfolio Project: Plan an Integrated Campaign

Bring audience research, SEO, social, paid media, measurement and responsible AI review together in a campaign portfolio.

Part of Digital Marketing Course

A portfolio project can show how a marketer connects research, messaging, channel decisions and measurement. It does not need to claim impressive performance. A clear project built around a focused question is more useful than mock posts without context.

Choose a practice brief

Use a fictional organization or a public brief you have permission to use. Describe the offer, audience need, constraints and assumptions. Do not include confidential client material, personal information or invented local-business facts.

Build the campaign plan

  1. Audience: Identify one group and the questions they need answered.
  2. Objective: State an action, period and measure; define a meaningful result.
  3. Message: Write a value proposition and flag claims needing confirmation.
  4. Channels: Explain the role of SEO/content, paid media, social and email as appropriate.
  5. Assets: Create a page outline, organic post and mock ad with matching destinations.
  6. Measurement: Define events, campaign tags, quality checks and one cautious experiment.
  7. Safeguards: Document consent, privacy, accessibility, rights, policy and AI review.

Present your reasoning

Summarize the audience need, why the channels fit and what evidence would change the plan. Label synthetic results clearly. Do not imply mock metrics are actual performance or that marketing caused an outcome without evidence.

Use AI transparently

If an AI assistant helped brainstorm or edit, record how it was used and verify the final work. Check for inaccurate claims, bias, generic copy, rights issues and inappropriate data disclosure. The marketer owns the decisions and deliverables.

A portfolio can include the brief, content examples, measurement plan, review checklist and reflection. Continue with the Digital Marketing Course and its integrated campaign capstone guide.
